Nephrocardiology sometimes also called cardionephrology, the study deals with cardiorenal syndromes and cardiac complications. It is a subspecialty that addresses the interaction and mechanisms that are not well addressed in either of the earlier specialties. Patients with cardiovascular disease have one or more nephrology-related conditions, which may be undiagnosed. These comorbidities require further study with respect to pathophysiology, their diagnosis, prognosis, evaluation, Prevention, therapy, adverse reactions, and the systemic diseases that involve both nephrology-related conditions and cardiovascular diseases.
