3rd Edition of International Heart Congress | June 05-07, 2025 | Rome, Italy

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is one of the most common heart diseases and a leading cause of sudden cardiac death, which posed a serious threat to human life. HCM is caused by various factors, which eventually results in myocardial dysfunction and heart failure. Although studies on HCM have been documented well, the molecular mechanism of HCM remains to be explored. Recent studies have shown the discovery of some new biomarkers of HCM and identification of its signaling pathways. It has revealed significant and promising progress in the research of HCM molecular signaling and mechanism. With the introduction of new ideas and the application of new technologies in cardiomyopathy research, there is hope for a qualitative leap in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiomyopathy in the near future.

Heart Congress 2025 | June 05-07, 2025

It Is a pleasure to welcome you to this important scientific event entitled “International Heart Congress-Rome 2025 - Heart Health in Focus: Bridging Science, Innovation, and Patient Care”.

Cardiovascular events continue to represent a major cause of global mortality, among them heart failure and its complications. In patients with Heart Failure, mortality is still very high–approximating 50 % over 5 years–which means that this syndrome is meanwhile deadlier than many cancer types.

It will be an important aspect of this congress to bring together experts from the fields of basic research, translational medicine, pharma R&D, and patient care in order to help improve cardiovascular outcomes.

I renew the welcome to all of you and wish you all the best in your work.

Cardiovascular Conference

3rd Edition of International Heart Congress | June 05-07, 2025

Dear colleagues!

Welcome to all participants of the 3rd Edition of International Heart Congress (Heart Congress 2025), taking place from June 05-07, 2025, in Rome, Italy. The organizers have designated the dominant theme of this year's conference as "Heart Health in Focus: Bridging Science, Innovation, and Patient Care". This implies that scientific achievements, primarily innovative technologies, should be directed for the benefit of patients with cardiac pathology.

Over the past 30 years, cardiovascular mortality worldwide has decreased by 30%. But in most regions of the world, they occupy a large place in adult mortality. Of course, as a result of the use of innovative technologies and secondary prevention, the situation is improving. But we must use the opportunities of primary prevention at the population level. It is risk factors that play an important role in cardiovascular morbidity. I believe that one of the key factors is also the comorbidity of vascular pathology and somatic diseases. Thus, a personalized approach comes to the forefront in the treatment and prevention of patients with cardiac pathology. The conference program is very interesting and covers different countries of the world. The conference is growing, which means its importance is becoming more and more important.

I wish success to the conference participants.

Yours Sincerely

Heart Congress 2025 | Hybrid Event

Not in the right environment to innovate and commercialize your Heart research? Not feeling appreciated? Move!

Without a doubt, recent advances in heart research including biomaterials, nanotechnology, drugs, diagnosis, prevention, and more have revolutionized cardiovascular medicine over the last several decades. But, where are the products? While some of these wonderful advances have made it to the market helping real patients, many have not. Are we doing enough to translate heart research into real products? Are companies not paying attention to this wonderful research? Are Universities not doing enough to license academic research or start new companies? What about federal funding agencies? Are they supporting the commercialization of heart research? And, most importantly, are you in the right environment to commercialize your heart research?

Well in my own experience, above all else, it takes a supportive environment. It takes a proper mind set to translate lab research into commercial products. It takes determination and fortitude to see it through. You need to surround yourself with the right people–and if you are currently not around a supportive optimistic environment, leave! Leave the University you are at - I did! Leave that company that is stifling your advances-I did! Once I found a truly supportive environment, I was able to not only start numerous companies on my heart research, but commercialize my over 25 years of University research into medical devices now in over 30,000 patients with no implant failures. No infection. No chronic inflammation. No implant loosening. No failures. No cancer. Better human health, including the heart, undoubtedly.

So I encourage everyone to find that right environment. Attend HEART CONGRESS 2025 at the heart of innovation and commercialization! Meet the right people! Be energized by optimistic people! At HEART CONGRESS 2025, we will not only discuss the next heart research breakthroughs, but more importantly, we will discuss how to commercialize it!

I look forward to seeing everyone!

Yours Sincerely

Dear congress visitor it is an honor and a pleasure to write a few welcome notes. Disturbance of microcirculation in the musculoskeletal system is a prime cause of pain and injury. It has been shown that chronic muscle spasm impedes skeletal muscle microcirculation and results in loss of mitochondria and muscle fibers. It has been further shown that resolution of the chronic muscle spasm allows the muscle to regenerate mitochondria and muscle fibers. Disturbances of microcirculation appear to also play a role in the development of tendinopathy. The microcirculation of tendons is easily impaired by chronic tension cause by chronic spasm of the attached muscles. I will share with you the findings of my clinical research over the past 15 years and the theories that developed to explain those findings.

Heart Congress | Paris, France

Dear Congress Visitors,

I am delighted to welcome you to the International Heart Congress. Clearly, the heart is one of the most important organs in our body. However, it is also one of the most problematic organs in the body. According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death globally with an estimated 17.9 million people who died from CVDs in 2019. Of course, with COVID following shortly thereafter, such statistics (including a drop in global life expectancy) have only become worse. Alarmingly, CVDs represent 32% of all global deaths. If our efforts over the last century have helped prevent, diagnose, and treat CVDs (which I think they have), why are so many people still dying from CVDs ? Are our approaches focused correctly ? At the right people ? At the right communities ? Let me give you my thoughts.

While it is true that many traditional societal conferences have been devoted to CVDs, this congress is different. This International Heart Congress has contributions from all over the world, fit for all over the world. I personally am always disappointed to see the same presentations from the same people at well-established societies or conferences – it is truly the “all boys network”, usually from wealthy countries receiving grants from funding agencies that prohibit reaching a truly global population. While such research is important, such talks are usually not focused on CVD solutions that can benefit the entire world. Did you know that, as true with other diseases, those from under-developed countries suffer CVDs the most accounting for over 75% of the total CVD deaths globally ? We have to transition our thinking to helping everyone, not just the country we are from – only then will we see global decreases in CVD. We need to ask ourselves the following questions: Does our research address CVD healthcare to those with limited sources ? Geographical restrictions ? No healthcare at all ? How can we be solving CVDs without reaching the patients that need them most ? What can you do ? This is why I personally have committed to this fight and established a new research fund for Nigeria and other African countries to explore the best healthcare options for CVDs.

These and other new ground-breaking issues in global CVDs will be discussed at this International Heart Congress. Join me in developing new strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat CVDs for everyone. Set your goal that can help once and for all make CVDs a statistic from the past, not the present, and certainly not the future. Set your goal to reduce CVDs where 75% of all CVDs occur, only then, can we see a change in CVD statistics.

Let’s get going

Yours Sincerely

Cardiology World Conference, October 24-25, 2019 | Tokyo, Japan

One of the themes of this conference is that of myocardial ischaemia and infarction. At first glance, this would seem to represent purely a repetition of our previous focus on the traditional theme of a common spectrum of cardiovascular disorders driven by the traditional risk factors of hypertension, smoking, diabetes and poor diet, and emerging mainly in middle-aged men. Our therapeutic discussion 30 years ago would have emphasised coronary revascularization above all. However, much has changed. In Western societies, emergence of coronary atheroma-related disease has generally been delayed, if not prevented, while an emerging epidemic threatens the Third World. We have finally learned the importance of inflammation as a key component of the pathogenesis of atherogenesis and myocardial Welcome Message ischaemia, and are beginning to refine our pharmacotherapy to accommodate the recognition of its potential effectiveness and the emergence of “new” forms of acute heart disease which occur mainly in women. I welcome you to the ischaemia/infarction section of the Conference, and trust that you will find our discussions exciting and providing of a better guide to future treatment.

Cardiology World Conference, October 24-25, 2019 | Tokyo, Japan

Dear congress visitors, It gives me great pleasure to write a few welcome notes. The field of cardiovascular biomarker research is entering a new, exciting era with the introduction of the concept of ‘personalized medicine’ in therapeutic treatment guidance. With a variety of new cardiovascular biomarkers, and assertions of their respective independent associations with outcome, it becomes increasingly difficult to select the biomarker with the strongest diagnostic as well as prognostic value. One can expect that the increasing use of cardiovascular biomarkers, accompanying traditional diagnostic and prognostic measures, for specific cardiovascular diseases, will lead to their almost crucial role in clinical decision making. However, the search for an ideal biomarker, or set of biomarkers, requires a systematic and rigorous approach to biomarker studies, more emphasis on Welcome Message prospective studies, and use of external validation cohorts. Accomplishment of the previous will lead to improved quality of diagnostic and, even more important, prognostic biomarker research in the future, and will be required if we want to bring this clinically important research field forward.
