Aortic Valve Insufficiency, also known as aortic regurgitation, is a cardiovascular condition characterized by the inadequate closure of the aortic valve, the valve responsible for regulating blood flow from the heart into the aorta. In individuals with aortic valve insufficiency, some of the blood pumped out of the heart flows back into the left ventricle with each contraction. This regurgitation can lead to various symptoms, including fatigue, shortness of breath, and chest discomfort. Over time, untreated aortic valve insufficiency can result in serious complications such as heart failure and damage to the heart muscle. Diagnosis often involves echocardiography, and treatment options may include medications or surgical intervention, depending on the severity of the condition. Regular monitoring and appropriate management are crucial in addressing aortic valve insufficiency and maintaining cardiovascular health
