Abstract:

Importance on multidisciplinary approach to cardiovascular patients- specifically ASCVD and CHF groups. Financial and socioeconomic burden of cardiovascular disease and ways to improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction. Will discuss ways to standardize medical care. ACC/AHA/ESC and CCS guidelines to reduce hospitalizations, all-cause mortality and decrease healthcare costs. Different models of achieving success in managing cardiac patients.

Goal is to implement coordinated comprehensive disease and comorbidity management with consulting services across variety of cardiac conditions.

Clinicians, hospitals and more importantly patients have a lot to gain through reduction of cardiovascular care variation. Through cost reduction, improvements in workflow efficiency and evidence-based standardization of care, we can create  more affordable and sustainable health care with better outcomes.

Biography:

Lusine Harutyunyan, PA-C, studied at Yerevan State Medical University, then continued her studies at Charles R Drew University in Los Angeles, and obtained her BS in Health Science.  Has been practicing in Cardiology field since 2008 in different healthcare settings. Member of ACC and certified in Cardiovascular knowledge by ACC.  Her special interest is in preventive cardiology and patient education.
