Biography:
Doty is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and did his residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is the associate medical director for cardiac surgery at Intermountain Medical Center and a clinical professor of surgery at Brigham Young University. His academic interests include surgical treatment for aortic aneurysm, atrial fibrillation, and adult congenital heart disease. He has co-authored a textbook and atlas of cardiac surgery and is the director of the CORE curriculum review course.
