Biography:
Dr. Elizabeth Ghandakly is an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH, USA. She graduated medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She also completed her Masters in Bioethics at Johns Hopkins University while in medical school. Prior to medical school, she practiced corporate law for a number of years, doing contract negotiation for large IT corporations after graduating law school from The Ohio State University. With a deep interest in health policy, she served an appointment to the City of Alexandria Public Health Advisory Commission from 2016-2018 and worked as a Health Policy Advisor to a Virginia State Delegate. Prior to law school, Dr. Ghandakly graduated from The Ohio State University with a dual degree in Economics and Political Science and an Arabic minor, including a semester abroad at the University of Damascus in Syria. She is part of the Clinician Educator Track at Cleveland Clinic and has interest in cardiology, global health policy, and medical education.
