Biography:
Dr. Ayisha Bashir completed her MBBS, pursued an MS in clinical informatics at the University of Nebraska, and pursued a Ph.D. in Biomechanics, and Kinesiology. She then joined the research group of Dr. Angela Yetman at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children's Hospital and Medical Center, Department of Cardiology. She has published over 20 articles including two dissertations. She has mostly pursued research related to cardiac patients, including telehealth management of cardiac patients, and improving physical activity in PAD patients.
